New Phi Psi Subscription Donations

Updated: Apr 24, 2021

Power In Numbers

That has been our unwritten rule as a fraternity. We're a better version of ourselves when we know we have people supporting us. Whether it's putting together a Mudtug event or coming together for a life milestone event, we've been there for each other.

We're thankful for every alumni that has donated at one time or another to the chapter. We couldn't be where we are without you. From the current RTC President, James Kase, "Thank you!" Subscription donations are another way we can be there for each other. We're stronger together. #PowerinNumbers.

That is why we're asking for everyone to take part in the subscription donation options that we have created (Please visit the 'Donate' tab on the website).

Why Subscription Donations?

- On a monthly basis, we are asking brothers to donate $5, $10, or $20 per month. Each

amount is associated with a different tier within the subscription donation model ($5 =

Phi Psi Pro, $10 = Phi Psi All-Star, $20 = Phi Psi Legend).

- Number don’t lie. If we get 100 brothers donating $5/month (price of a cup of coffee)

that means for a whole year we raised $6,000. This amount would cover expenses for

any future AW (including Alumni 30).

- These monthly donations are deposited into the CPF (Chapter Provisions Fund).

Why CPF?

- We should be in-charge of our destiny and not have to go through the troubling experience that happens when working with national.

o *For continued oversight, we will provide monthly updates for all alumni that

take part in subscription donations

- We can invest part of the donations as well for continued growth of the CPF = This

already takes place with the current state of the CPF

- Part of the CPF is currently used for updates to the chapter house and will continue to

be used in this way (This is accomplished via interest from the CPF)

o *What I would like is for the interest of the CPF to do much more

Subscription Donation Initiatives

- The donations will be directed towards:

1) Alumni Weekend Funds - Supplying new and great memories for all alumni that attend with the funds provided by the donations

2) Current and New Scholarships - We can create a new scholarship on our own to support a new initiative/focus and to honor a brother that has passed

3) Alumni gifts - Why should the undergrads have all of the fun? For Alumni that get involved, we can award gifts to alumni that go above and beyond

Reasons for Donating

- Donating to me (James Kase) means making a difference in the lives of those that I went to school with and those that have come after. With each donation, I’m able to make that happen because I know that the money I invest in our chapter is going to be re-invested towards the undergrads and my fellow alumni (Examples: Pay for someone’s alumni weekend ticket or provide a new scholarship for an undergrad).

This avenue of taking our donations only works if there is a group effort. We’re not asking

for a lot. At minimum, $5/month (the price of a cup of coffee). When the donations accrue, we can get to a point where the interest from the donations are providing everything we need.

When you’re ready to act, please head to the 'Donations' tab on our website and select the subscription option you're most comfortable with.

Lastly, we are asking all that donate if you’re willing to share what donating means to you and/or your favorite Alumni Weekend memory. Please submit in a 30-60 second video to jbkase@gmail.com.
